Secundus is founded by Peter Everaers in 1993 in a very quiet part of Flanders in The Netherlands near the river Schelde. 

Until 2003 you could only reach us from the north by boat, but since this year (2003) there is a tunnel under the river. For the Belgian c.q. Flemish people it was always very easy – the could normally use the road and pass the frontier.

We specialize in old and rare books; topography and history of Zeeland and Flanders; Flemish literature in fine and special editions; books on art; illustrated books and picture books.
