FRITS
KNUF
Antiquarian
Booksellers since 1953 |
|
 |
Frits
Knuf opened his first shop in
Amsterdam in 1953. At first he
specialized in Dutch literature but
later he gradually changed to books
about books, a subject that the firm
is still known for. When Frits
retired in 1996, the firm was taken
over by me, his assistant, Anita van
Elferen. I now run the business from
France.
Our
stock consists of 20,000 books which
we offer through variousmeans.
Naturally we continue to publish the
traditional printed catalogues and
we are happy to help customers build
their collections through direct
offers. Then of course there is the
internet: our stock can be found a.o.
on our own website through which all
books can be ordered securely. And
of course we always look forward to
meeting you in person at one of the
international bookfairs we attend
because we feel personal contact is
very important despite the
opportunities the internet has to
offer. That is also why we welcome
people to visit us and see our books
in person. But please do give us a
call first. We might be at a
bookfair or hunting for new books
that we can offer you!
