(14),1358,(22) pp. With frontispiece, woodcut printer's mark on title, portrait of the author, folded plan, double-page view, folded armorial plate, 10 portraits, 4 other double-page plates and numerous woodcut armorial text illustrations. Calf, raised bands, spine richly gilt, red label, gilt edges round sides.

Landwehr RdH 45; Nijhoff/van Hattum 17. Well-illustrated by amongst others Romeyn de Hooghe, he suplied the frontispiece and all other plates except for the 10 portraits and the armorial plate. Other contributers include S. van Hoogstraten, S. Savery, J. Suyderhoef and L. Visscher. Some annotations in the genealogical part. A beautiful copy in a splendid binding with the bookplate of JW Six. (In volume 2 handwritten text with ink and pencil at the arms).

Two views show King Bonaparte's visit near Dalem and Gorinchem. Others, with more drifting ice, bursts, flooded lands, etc., show Babiloniënbroek, Beusichem, Erichem, again Gorinchem, Kedichem and Westervoord. The maps include detailed surveys of major bursts and a large overall map with the flooded areas coloured in blue. Bodel Nijenhuis 218a; Kemper 247.

The Counts of Holland portraited in full from the original paintings in Haarlem. Each plate with an unnumbered title-leaf, on verso a sonnet by the author followed (printed in gothics) by the Haarlem legends.
