Het Bisschopshof has a varied collection of old books, maps and prints.
Since 1973 we have applied ourself to a particular specialty.
We offer a variety of topographic prints / maps by Braun & Hogenberg, Guicciardini, Ortelius, Mercator, Blaeu, de Wit, Janssonius and others, and books from the 16th till the 19th century. With an eye for detail and
the greatest care for quality we have selected a broad collection where you can find exactly what you are looking for town/ city views, town maps, area/ province maps and generally beautifully illustrated books.

Whether
it's a business gift an investment
or a unique addition to your own
private collection: you can find it
in the collection of Het
Bisschopshof.
Het Bisschopshof has made a
name in old topographic prints and
books. We have a large collection of
"The Netherlands", but
also our collection of the rest of
the world is growing day by day.
Town views and maps, detailed
wall-maps, complete travelogues from
the 16th till the 19th century: Het
Bisschopshof offers you a broad
collection.
Lovers of prints can
count on an extra service. On
request the item will be delivered
in a wooden frame, behind glass and
with a high quality acid free paper
passe-partout. We can do this in our
own frame-work shop. On the backside
of the frame you will find all
relevant information; technique,
artist, place and date of origin.
Many businesses and institutions
have found their way to Het
Bisschopshof. They can count on
our reliable advice and high quality.
This makes every sale an asset. Our
shop is located in a 17th century
building in the centre of Utrecht,
only 40 meters from the Neude. You can
park your car in parking
"Springweg" or "La Vie". And there is the possibility to park the car in front of the shop for a few minutes.
You are very
welcome to convince yourself of our
varied supply of books, topographic
prints and other decorative graphics.
Our old books are only viewable on appointment in Vorden, near Zutpen in the east of the Netherlands.
