Sanderus
Antiquariaat, named after the famous
Flemish historian, Antonius Sanderus,
was founded in 1980 by Filip
Devroe.
The company was first settled in
Kortrijk but moved in 1993 to Ghent.
|
|
|
|
|
In
2002, Brecht Devroe, the elder son,
opened a new gallery in the centre
of Brussels. Dieter Devroe, the
younger who made a thesis on
"Cartouches on maps in the 16th
and 17th centuries", joined the
business in 2003.

We are
specialised in antiquarian books,
maps and prints, but our website
focuses on maps of all parts of the
world, from the 15th to the 18th
century.
