Antiquariaat Brabant was established in 1925 under the name ‘Zuid-Nederlandsch Antiquariaat’ by M.H.C. van de Wouw and A. Heinen. It was the first official antiquarian bookshop in the south of the Netherlands (see catalog 1, august 1925).

In 1965 Ans van Pagée (1918-2007) bought the firm from A. Heinen and continuated it under the name ‘Antiquariaat Brabant’.

Her son Pim became the new owner in 1996.

The shop has a general stock. Main topics are local history, books on art and illustrated books from the 16^th – 20^th century.
