"My
father W. Loose started to sell
books in 1946. He did not really
specialize, but he liked popular
literature and folk art which made
him acquire almanacs, chapbooks,
children's books etc. at an early
date.
|
|
|
Having
helped during my school years, I
really started to work in the shop
when at last I had passed my final
school exam in 1953.

|
Geography
( travel, topography, maps, and
views ) has become another
specialization, mainly pre 1880 in
the medium price range. I do not
make catalogues, so business is
restricted to shop and fair sales so
far."
